Billy studied Jazz Drumming and Percussion at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, graduating in 2014.

Billy’s credits include the smash-hit National Theatre Production, One Man, Two Guvnors, of which he toured globally and in the UK for two years, performing at The Hong Kong Arts Festival, Adelaide Festival, Auckland Arts Festival and at many other venues worldwide. Billy was also drum deputy for the West End production at The Theatre Royal Haymarket. Alongside these performances, Billy appeared on Australian National TV, ABC Radio Sydney and played live with The Quarrymen.

Also for The Royal National Theatre, Billy was the percussionist in The Beaux’ Stratagem (Olivier Theatre), with original music composed by Michael Bruce. This included an NT live broadcast shown in cinemas worldwide.

In 2022 Billy performed with Saturday Night Fever the Musical at the Peacock Theatre in London’s West End. This followed several UK tours (2019-2022) and a residency in Tokyo, Japan (2019).

Since 2016, Billy has been involved in a number of performances with Dexys (formerly Dexys Midnight Runners). These included a live show for Sky Arts (broadcast in 2023) and a performance of Come on Eileen at The Commonwealth Games 2022 closing ceremony, viewed by millions globally. Other performances with Dexys include ITV This Morning (2022), ITV The Aled Jones Show (2016), The Chris Evans Show on BBC Radio 2 (2016) and the album launch of Let the Record Show: Dexys Do Irish and Country Soul (2016).

Billy played percussion/drums in the first ever live performance of Brad Fiedel’s iconic The Terminator soundtrack, in The Terminator Live (Avex Classics International). Venues included KKL Lucerne (2019), The Orchard Hall, Tokyo (2020) and Festival Hall, Osaka (2020). Also for Avex Classics, Billy performed the World Premier of Blade Runner Live in Concert at The Royal Albert Hall, London (2019) followed by a UK tour (2022) and The Orchard Hall, Tokyo (2023).

Billy has played for some of the top companies in the UK, including Facebook, Google, The Houses of Parliament, The V&A and The Shard. Billy performs regularly with Boujee Music.
